The Writeometer app is a simple way to track how many words you write each day and how much you've written. But unlike NaNoWriMo, you're not restricted to a month's worth of writing, or even 50,000 words. You can set your own goals, such as total word count or daily word count, and even choose an end date for your writing. Alternatively, you can continue working on a project you've already begun.
To use the app, you need an Android emulator for PC. BlueStacks is one of the most popular and easiest to use android emulators, and is free to download. To install Writeometer for PC, simply double-click on the Bluestacks app icon. This will install the game automatically. After you've installed Bluestacks, open it and navigate to the Playstore to find the app you want. To launch the game, double-click on its icon.
Once installed, you'll need to add your desired writing project to Writeometer, then select a completion date. You can set a reminder for yourself or another person to remind you to write. The program will then begin a timer to remind you to write and log your word count every day. The Writeometer app can be used for multiple writing projects, and it also lets you archive completed writing projects. This is a perfect tool for writing on-the-go!
